Happy Valentine’s Day!

Okay, so maybe I’m a day late, but better late than never! I do enjoy that I was able to use my craftiness this V-Day with homemade cards. Even though I ran out of supplies and wasn’t able to make a card for everyone, I was still happy to spread a little love around.

Tim and I had a great weekend together. We went to one of my favorite restaurants, Carrabba’s, and out to the movies. I love date nights!

Special congrats to one of my friends who just got engaged.

Happy Labor Day Everyone! This weekend I’ve had a great opportunity to see both sides of my family. I hope you and yours are getting a chance to relax and visit with family and friends.

I’ve got lots of fun things coming up on the blog; a Broad Ripple engagement shoot, Hayley and Dan’s beautiful country wedding, my adorable niece’s 4 month pictures and some personal images from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. For now, however, I believe a certain pool is calling my name…

Well, yesterday was a big day in my city, the 93rd running of the Indianapolis 500! Helio Castroneves won the epic race for the 3rd time, and Danica Patrick finished 3rd. Way to go girl!

I hope that you are able to take some time today to spend with loved ones. Also, be sure to take time to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country’s freedoms. Thank you to all of our service men and women. Special thanks to my buddy Andy, who is serving in the Navy in Japan, and to my cousin Tyler, who is serving in the Army.
