Carson, the son of my past wedding clients, Kaleena and Eli, has grown a bunch since I first met him at his newborn session. Classically, the best expressions of the shoot were once he was just in his onesie after wearing all the adorable outfits his mom picked out. At 3 months you can’t really blame them for wanting to be in their own world and wear as little clothes as possible. We all totally melted when he put on his lion costume from Halloween. His crazy hair was cracking me up. I can’t wait to see more of his personality come out as he continues to grow. It’s been so much fun to see Kaleena and Eli’s relationship grow into becoming a family.

I love this little guy and how much of his parents I can see in him at only 4 months old! He has the best little expressions and they just cracked me up. (check out his eyebrows!) This baby is loved so well by his parents. They are good friends of ours and it’s been neat to see them transition into this new stage of life. On to his baby cuteness…

You might remember Kaleena and Eli from their maternity session a while ago or maybe even their wedding. Well, it was finally time for me to meet the newest edition to their family, little Carson. Oh, is he cute! It was so awesome to see them transitioning into their new role as parents. The have an amazing house in downtown Vincennes that they have put a lot of TLC in the last few years. It will be a great place for Carson to roam around in. I adored his fuzzy black baby hair!

On May 30th, Christy and Adam welcomed their first little one into the world, Jackson Wayne.
He is just perfect. Christy is good friend of mine and I’ve watched as she’s been through what seemed like a forever long pregnancy. It was so wonderful to finally meet who had been growing inside her! Lots of changing have been happening for this couple as just this week they celebrated their first anniversary and her birthday. I’m so excited to watch this little one grow up. He’s already so well loved by lots of people. Congrats to the new parents and Happy Anniversary!

April 28th, my brother Ryan and his wife Amanda welcomed into the world their first child, Lorelei Elaine. She came into the world at 5:06pm and was 7lbs 14 ounces, 20.5 inches tall! She also is an 8th generation Kentuckian. (even though they live 10 minutes north of the Kentucky border!)

They had had a whirlwind two years, from Ryan’s 4th of July proposal, home ownership, a winter wedding in ’08 and now adding little Lorelei to the mix. I am looking forward to seeing her little personality as she grows bigger and can assure you that you’ll see her again on the blog.

Let me explain the picture of the two stuffed animals (since I’m not a fan of posing babies by stuffed animals), those are my brother’s well loved childhood friends Rocky (the raccoon) and Teddy (the bear). They accompanied us on many of an adventure; tree climbing, wagon rides, the drive in movies, and cardboard box creations (submarines, spaceships, etc)!
