Surprisingly this post is about Tim’s adventures in the kitchen and not mine. Since fall is quite busy for me, Tim took it upon himself to make a fantastic meal for me and our dinner guests last week. He went all out. Every recipe was from the “Cooking Light” cookbook. The menu line up was:
Appetizer- Red pepper walnut dip with toasted Baguettes
Entree- Lasagna Rolls w/Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
Sides – Oven roasted green beans and Grilled summer squash
Dessert- Poached Pears
The wine was delightful as well as the company of our guests Sonja and Alex, who themselves have quite an interesting blog. While this kind of quality food doesn’t always show up at dinner time at the King house, it sure is a treat when it does. It’s always nice to have a reason to use the good china. Cheers to kitchen adventures that turn out stellar!
