I love that I see life beautifully. I am completely blessed to document such a monumental day in people’s lives. Love is the greatest gift.
After working under a photographer for 3 years and starting my own small photography business during college, I graduated from the School of Business at Indiana State in 2005. In January of 2006, Megelaine Images moved from my hobby to my full time career. Since then, when I also got married, it’s been full speed ahead. I’ve gotten the opportunity to meet great couples and photograph over 100 weddings as lead photographer. Getting to know my couples is important to me, so I can truly capture their love and personality. Being welcomed into the circles of family and friends on the wedding day allows be to be a true visual storyteller of the day.
While my heart is completely in my business I also realize the importance of a balanced life. In my off hours (typically after 5:30 on weekdays and free weekends) I love hanging out with my husband Tim, being outside, playing with my cat, visiting with friends, riding bikes, visiting my family in Southern Indiana and reading a good book every now and then. (Typically business or spiritually related)
A few of the things I love:
Laughter, people, sunshine, my cat, cake (baking in general), my porch swing, leisurely bike rides, Mexican food, a hard workout, water (mainly floating and swimming in it), family time, naps, fresh cut grass, the color red, celebration, fresh babies, singing (but not well), Jesus, my house church, Broad Ripple, open fields, vacation, mission work trips, pedicures, real cherry coke…
