Last weekend I enjoyed a wonderful time with my house church up in Lake Michigan. Such a beautiful place to relax and connect.

Every now and then I get to take on a unique assignment. I spent part of a day capturing the beautiful work that Eric Jensen does. I photographed at just one home, but one that had a variety of his masterpieces in it. All of his designs are completely custom, one of a kind. Each little piece of tile is hand cut. Truly incredible craftsmanship. Enjoy seeing what I little Jensen creativity can bring to a kitchen, bathroom, or an outdoor living space.
Many thanks to Eric for creating tile work in my bathroom that while, “boring” to his standards, exceeded all of my hopes.
Tim and I are very blessed and excited to share that we are expecting our first baby!
We will be welcoming our little bundle of love in early February. It’s a complete miracle what’s going on inside me right now and an answer to prayer. We couldn’t help but laugh with joy as we saw our little one moving their tiny hands and feet at us during the ultrasound. We’ve pasted the first trimester milestone! It wasn’t the easiest for me, feeling yucky and exhausted kept me from being as intense as normal in the office. (Good thing there’s a couch at the Gallery!) Tim’s been awesome so far, helping with some late nights at the office and cooking for my finicky stomach.
Before I started showing, here are a few pictures of Tim and I to capture a little bit of what “us” looked like before baby. I’m about 11 weeks in these photos. When I start looking like I’m pregnant and not just bloated, I’ll be sure to post a picture on the blog. Big thanks to Kiera for coming to Broad Ripple to do these pics for us!
This is the brand new home of the Megelaine Images blog. There will be plenty of pretty pictures, real Indiana Weddings, tips, and stories from my personal life. (Yes, I do more than take pretty pictures!) I’m so excited for the all the great things in store for this blog.
I send a big thank you to all of you who have followed me for quite a while now and am sending a big welcome hug to anyone who might be stopping by for the first time. I love feedback, so don’t be shy about commenting. Let me know what you love; images, details, emotions, resources, questions, etc. Also, be sure to hit me up on Facebook and Twitter!![]()
My new little nephew was welcomed into the world by Ryan and Amanda on June 23rd in Owensboro, Kentucky. (8th Generation Kentuckian) He was a sweet little bundle of baby cuteness at 7lbs and 9oz with a full head of hair. Tim and I got to spend some quality time with his big sister Lorelei while the rest of the gang was in the hospital. I loved playing in the pool with Lorelei (and the Elmo that tagged along). Enjoy this cuteness.
As a note, these images should bring a smile to your face (even when they aren’t your niece and nephew).
