I had a lovely evening with Erin and Marc on the grounds of their alma mater Butler. Erin and Marc share the same career pharmacy, love of travel and dogs. Marc is Mr. romantic and proposed on the ancient ruins in Peru. How unique is that? They have many adventures ahead as they get married in Florida in the fall and spend time exploring Australia for their honeymoon.

By the end of the night we realized we only live a few block apart. I love meeting neighbors, even if we first meet at a wedding or the web!

So the little cutie you saw on the blog last week had his official newborn shoot yesterday. Eli is one adorable baby, I’m so excited to watch him grow. Steph and Adam have already transitioned into parenthood pretty seamlessly. Adam was a big football player and had a special request to have Eli in his helmet. Surprisingly he just fit and really liked how snuggly it was.

An exciting update about my brother and sister in law, they are at the hospital right now. Everyone is hoping that their sweet baby girl will arrive by the end of the day!

Our friends Stephanie and Adam welcomed their first child, a handsome little guy into the world last week. I just took a few quick pictures of his new-ness at the hospital. His official newborn shoot will be coming soon. Congrats to the new parents and lots of love to little Eli!

Last night I went to what I think is one of the best deals in Broad Ripple, the Jazz Kitchen’s 8 before 8 special. To decode, they offer 3 meals for only 8 dollars before 8pm on Mondays. Oh, did I mention that there’s live jazz music too? The meals always are different, whatever the chef thinks up. Tim and I have been several times and never been disappointed. Last night I enjoyed fried chicken breast, fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes with a roasted red pepper gravy (delicious)! Tim had filet mignon with blue cheese, onions and a fig sauce with mashed potatoes. These people aren’t messing around; the tastes are unique, the choices are good and it really only costs $8 per dinner! Fun date idea for a Monday for about $20.

Words couldn’t possibly describe this wedding! Manasa and Avinash were an amazing couple with fabulous personalities. I loved how emotional and joyous the day was for all involved! I was so fortunate to be able to help document this amazing event for Jessica Strickland. You can see her fabulous work from the day at her blog. Also part of this fabulous photo team was Shelly Valentine, who I adored working with. With so much going on in one day I couldn’t imagine not having three cameras going at all times.
