What a sweet & fun couple! Kevin proposed in at Shades State Park and since that was a bit of a drive we found something close at Starkey Park in Zionsville. Nicci had remembered running those trails for cross-country back in high school. (go runners! I had a love/hate relationship with the beautiful but hilly cross-country courses I ran in Southern Indiana) The park was beautiful with all of the leaves changing and end of day light. (however the trails were not marked well) I can tell this wedding will be a little different and fun in January! (especially if Kevin gets his requests granted) It will be here soon.

Angel and Sean traveled up from Vincennes, Indiana for their engagement session. It was great to get to know them as we walked around shooting pictures. Angel has a pretty intense schedule right now with finishing up nursing school and planning their wedding for next fall. I’m excited for their outdoor wedding next fall!

Last Thursday was the monthly PUG meeting, where several of us Indy (and beyond) photographers get together. We typically have a different focus or topic for each meeting. Well last week we decided to do head shots of each other. It was totally fun to goof off with each other, play in fields of weeds, throw leaves and lay on the ground. Jessica and Matthew must have brought the heat with them from Texas for their wedding last Saturday in Brownsburg. Really, upper 80s in October? Regardless, it was such a beautiful fall wedding. We had lots of fun playing around with the pumpkin patch and soccer ball. (don’t be fooling the fancy clothes don’t hinder their play that much) Jessica had been on a soccer team with each of her bridesmaids. Watch out. (not to discredit the guys skill) I can’t say enough about how welcoming and fun Jessica’s family was. I think I have to give my best father of the bride 08 award to Jeff. Christina and Jake’s engagement session was in the morning at the IMA. Gorgeous light. We took our time meandering the beautiful gardens. If you haven’t been there, put it on your to do list asap!
