Big day!!! We are going to be on the Dave Ramsey show on the Fox Business Channel tonight at 8pm sharing our story about how we’re debt free. We were the first callers (the show is taped in the afternoon). We have been focused about getting student debt and other consumer debt out of our lives. (we still have a mortgage) God has been totally faithful in helping us move what seemed to be a mountain of student loans.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Dave Ramsey and his Financial Peace plan, check out www.daveramsey.com. Being unified in our money has been such a strength for our marriage. As a note, Megelaine Images is and has been a debt free business, which has brought such peace of mind.
Live like no one else, so you can live like no one else!
What a perfect day! It seemed even more perfect when the earlier predictions for a rainy Saturday (thanks Ike) held off until Sunday for this outside wedding. Kayla and Andy are such a fun loving couple and genuine individuals. Everything went so smooth. Before heading to the ceremony site we traveled with the wedding party to Coxhall Gardens for some pictures. Fantastic stop! The ceremony and reception were at Lumiere Du Corps Resort, which is a hidden wedding gem north west of Zionsville. The kids who Kayla nannies were in the wedding and adorable! Deborah and the crew at A Bride’s Choice Florist in Broad Ripple did a knock-out job with the florals. They are awesome to work with and come up with fabulous arrangements. Kayla said several times during the day she felt like she was in a movie. Congrats to the newlyweds! Here’s a look into their fairytale day…
Yesterday marked 26 fabulous years for me. I am so blessed. Baked goods are such a sweet perk to birthdays! Don’t underestimate the fun sprinkles bring.
Beautiful day, happy couple! I was totally loving the fluffy clouds in the bright blue sky and Lauren’s contagious smile! Lauren was a suite mate and sorority sister of mine and I was so excited to be the one to capture her big day. Props to Anne Ruthman who did a stellar job with their engagement pictures before she made her move out east. It’s always interesting to know so many couples stories and how different they all are. There surely is no “one way” to find your true love. Lauren and Brian’s relationship started over simple notes of encouragement from Lauren when Brian was serving overseas. One thing led to another, he came back to the states and they became an item. Then comes the wedding bells.
They both have super fun families, which made the day quite entertaining. Lauren’s family even did their “special cheer” after their family pictures. The full mass ceremony was pretty neat in that Lauren and Brian participated several different ways, including leading prayers and serving communion.
Streamers exploded as they made their getaway from the church. We took a fun stop for a hole of putt-putt where Brian actually hit a hole in one! The reception hall was packed full and ran smoothly thanks to Jeanette at Simple to Elegant in Terre Haute. The newlyweds are enjoying Mexico right now before coming home to Paris. Congrats guys, and thanks so much for having Tim and I share in your day!
