What’s a wedding photographer to do with a free weekend in the summer? Of course, tour the new Lucas Oil Stadium, stop by a local church’s sausage fest, and hang out with friends at night in Broad Ripple! Random day off to say the least. Perhaps the weirdest part was being in a bar and cheering for Micheal Phelps to win his 8th gold of the games. Really, the whole bar was cheering for swimming.

It’s refreshing to be caught up on editing and looking forward with excitement to my fall weddings. I’m even more stoked after going to the Free To Succeed Seminar by David Jay in Indy. It was a lot of fun to see some of my local photog friends and be encouraged in my business.

I’ll be down in Rockport visiting my parents and family after Sarah and David’s wedding in Evansville Saturday. Tim and I are really looking forward to some days off and being away from home.

These two are such a great couple! Tim and a had a fun day capturing these two with ALL their friends and family. In total their were 25 in the wedding party! These two are high school sweethearts and got married just one day short of their 7 year anniversary of dating. They were married at the church they met at and by their youth pastor. Clearly, Bailey had been dreaming of this day for a while, so it’s not surprising that she thought of every little detail. Brandt’s mom, who is a baker, made their many wedding cakes. Two were even funfetti inside! They did a lot of work to transform a lackluster room into a magical wedding reception, which I think is neat because it created a one time place for a once in a lifetime event. I wish these two nothing but the best. They are coming home soon from their honeymoon that was a surprise for Bailey. I didn’t even find out what the plans were, however, I’m confident that Brandt pulled through with someplace great for the new wife he adores.

Great day, great people! Kelly & Jason tied the knot up at St. Louis De Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers. The day started out at Meridian Design Group and then back to Kelly’s parent’s house, where she grew up, for makeup by Mary Kay. Before the full mass ceremony we had a chance to get some pictures outside with some of the best weather you could hope for in August. After the ceremony, we had time for some fun outside pictures around Ft. Harrison. Wedding party- you rock! The reception was at the Garrison which overlooks “The Fort” golf course. What a perfect setting for two golfers in love! Cocktail hour overlooked the golf course on the patio before entering the beautiful reception. Kelly thought of every detail. Speeches got a little teary, especially while remembering when Jason was overseas with the service. Kelly & Jason opened the dance floor with some impressive moves and the dance floor was full the rest of the evening.

Jason and Kelly, you are both sweet people who are a ton of fun and I wish you all the best as man and wife!
