Blair & Evan- Engaged!

Evan truly surprised Blair when he proposed this Christmastime. Blair was excited and ready to plan a May wedding. Soon after the engagement we met for lunch and starting bouncing around wedding ideas. As you can imagine I have a huge bank of general wedding information in my head.

Since they met at Butler, it was only fitting to do their engagement pictures there. We had a blast last week walking all over campus. The night ended up closing down La Piedad in Broad Ripple, a yummy, yummy, Mexican joint. Just last week I got the exciting news that Blair and Evan will be our “neighbors” about 6 blocks south! There’s already talk about cook-outs for the summer.

Let’s just say this shot was a lot of fun.

Kayla and Andy- Engaged

Last week Kayla, Andy and I had a great time in downtown Zionsville for their engagement shoot. It was my first time in the “downtown” and it was adorable. Reminded me a bit of Nashville, Indiana. You can tell from the pictures how fun and sweet this couple is. I’m looking forward to their fall wedding.

Crystal & Jasmyne

Yesterday I got a visit from my long time friend Crystal and her adorable 3 1/2 year old daughter Jasmyne. Crystal and I met it 4th grade and have been friends since. It’s pretty cool that the group I hung out with from upper elementary school through high school have managed to stay in touch and get together when we can. Since it was a gorgeous day we took some pictures of Jasmyne and her mommy.

Images from Costa Rica

Somehow in the middle of 5 out of town weddings in 5 weeks and celebrating Christmas with family I didn’t have time to sort through my personal pictures from the time Tim and I spent in Costa Rica after the Huerta wedding. Well, I finally had a chance to look through them all and thought I would share a few. It was awesome to have all my gear in a place that was so bright and beautiful. Tim and I stayed 3 days after the wedding to explore the Arenal Volcano and hike through the rainforest.
